Carol Beyanga


Carol is the Managing Editor of the daily section of the Daily Monitor newspaper. She has worked at the newspaper for 12 years and has risen through the ranks, from, sub editor to features editor, onto Special Projects editor and she is now the Managing Editor.

She has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Makerere University and a Master’s degree from Cardiff University in Wales. She does book editing and has worked with publishing houses like Fountain Publishers. Under her leadership role as Special Projects Editor, Carol led efforts that investigated a score of important issues ranging from corporate prostitution to the difficulties people with disabilities face in Uganda.
